College of Charleston concluded its Thursday practice ahead of its opening-round game against Auburn anchored to their underdog mentality.
The Cougars, making their fifth NCAA Tournament appearance in school history, and first since 1999, will try win in the tournament for the first time since 1997.
Auburn comes in off winning a share of the SEC regular-season title, but lost to Alabama in the quarterfinal round of the SEC Tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Buffalo won as a 13th-seeded team over 4th-seeded Arizona, becoming the 27th team since 1985 to accomplish that feat.
