All four of Clemson’s quarterbacks had their moments in the first game-situation scrimmage Wednesday, the Tigers’ last practice before Spring Break.
Freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence had a 50-yard touchdown run, and redshirt-freshman Chase Brice engineered two long touchdown drives in a productive day for the Clemson offense. One unfortunate side effect of the quarterback competition is injury, as rising sophomore Hunter Johnson suffered a hamstring injury Wednesday.
