Former South Carolina Pitching Coach Jerry Meyers joined SportsTalk on Monday and said he’s adjusting well to his new position in the Gamecocks Athletic Department.
Meyers told SportsTalk he struggled with bouts of vertigo leading up to his resignation from his spot on the Gamecocks staff, and didn’t believe he’d be able to fulfill his duties without difficulty.
South Carolina hired Meyers after a medical leave of absence to step into a new role in the Gamecocks Development and fundraising department.
While Meyers says the national media has neglected the Gamecocks, he believes USC has the ability to make some noise this season:
