6-7 Christian Brown of Lower Richland returned to Clemson Saturday on an unofficial visit for the Miami game. Brown hadn’t been considering the Tigers all that strongly prior to the visit. That’s all changed now after watching them take down the Hurricanes.
“The visit to Clemson was very fun and was great to spend time with my mother,” Brown said. “Nothing really stood out to me there because I have been there over five times over the years, but I love the people there. It was great to see their support for their team and the high energy the gym was.”
Brown also got the chance to visit with Clemson coach Brad Brownell and assistants and heard more from them about what the program has to offer.
“They were just saying it’s a program that is about family and how it’s a college town, so everybody treats each other like family,” he said. “I have been there a lot so he told me you know where home is.”
Brown added that the visit moved the Tigers higher up on his list. Georgia, Georgia Tech, UNLV, Florida State, Florida, Virginia Tech and UMass are others he’s been focused on.
He said his next two unofficial visits will be to Georgia Tech and Alabama the last weekend of the month.
