South Carolina and Virginia Tech have jointly announced a charity men’s basketball game to be played at Colonial Life Arena for November 5th at 2 PM.
The game, billed as “Hoops 4 Hurricane Relief” will benefit those in hurricane-ravaged areas in the United States and Puerto Rico.
Tickets start at $10 for general admission, going all the way up to a $250 dollar donation for two premium seats and two passes to the McGuire Club during the game.
Gamecocks coach Frank Martin hinted during the week at SEC Basketball Media Days that a game of this nature was in the works, piggybacking off the renewal of the Missouri and Kansas rivalry played on Sunday, which raised more than $1.75 million.

South Carolina also plays an exhibition game against Erskine on October 30th, in advance of its season-opening game at Wofford on November 10th.
