6-7 Jericole Hellems of St. Louis has taken official visits to USC and NC State and hasn’t scheduled any others at this point. He said USC is still involved with him and he’s been talking with all of the assistants. He said the Gamecocks were out to see him a couple of weeks ago. “They are a great organization obviously and I’m very interested in South Carolina as I am with all the schools on my list. I feel good about South Carolina and I feel good about my other schools. I just need some time. They see me as a player that can impact the game and help their organization on top of what they’ve already been doing.” Some of those other schools are Missouri, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and Florida. Hellems said there is no timeline for his decision.
USC also remains involved with 6-10 Keasu Ezeagu of GTA Prep in Canada. His coach said Tuesday night they are working on trying to set up an official visit with the Gamecocks.
Clemson is in the final three with 6-1 Devon Dotson of Charlotte. He has been to Clemson unofficially. He took an official visit to Maryland last weekend. Kansas also in the mix and his father told Rivals a decision should come down within a week.
Clemson no longer is involved with 5-11 PG Anthony Nelson of South Kent, CT. He said he is down to Dayton, Seton Hall and Minnesota.
OL Jackson Carman of Fairfield, OH did not make a scheduled official visit to Wisconsin. He has eliminated the Badgers because he can’t enroll there in January his coach told Scout.com. He is scheduled to visit Clemson, Ohio State, Southern Cal and Florida State.
OL Dylan Wonnum of Tucker, GA told 247Sports USC and LSU are now his top two. Previously he had Auburn at the top of his list. Those three, he said, will get official visits and he plans to announce in December.
