DB Israel Mukuamu of Bossier City, LA, a Florida State commitment and USC target, took his first official visit over the weekend to Indiana. The improving Hoosier program did a good job selling their strong points to Mukuamu and he left Bloomington with a favorable impression.
“The Indiana visit was great, really liked it a lot there,” the former Berkeley high star said. “I love the coaching staff and the way they treat their players. All of those coaches are very respectable men and it carries on to the players. I got to hang out with some of the players. They are the coolest guys and very humble players and have great respect for themselves, their team and coaches. I could really see my self playing with that team and playing for that coaching staff.”
Mukuamu said his last contact from USC was from Will Muschamp last week and wished him well in his game. He is planning to take an official visit to USC the weekend of the Arkansas game. He’s also planning to take trips to Florida State, Louisville and Georgia. The Louisville visit could come this weekend.
