After a game where the Clemson Tigers kept Auburn out of the end zone, they now take a boastful bunch into the home stadium of the defending Heisman trophy winner.
Clemson defensive lineman Clelin Ferrell could not contain his effusive praise for teammate Austin Bryant.
The Tigers sacked Auburn 11 times as a team, Saturday, with Bryant collecting a school record four of them, earning him ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors. Bryant has been a forgotten man amongst the front four, with much of the preseason praise going to the other three linemen. Ferrell loved seeing the progression of Bryant personified last weekend:

Clemson’s defensive line wasn’t alone among the ACC honors, as Dorian O’Daniel earned ACC Linebacker of the Week after racking up a career-high 14 tackles. Much of the conversation leading up to this game revolves around Louisville’s Lamar Jackson winning the Heisman Trophy over former Clemson QB Deshaun Watson.
