A position of growth in 2016 has become one of strength for the South Carolina Gamecocks in 2017.
In Wednesday’s SEC teleconference, Will Muschamp said that while USC took its lumps on the offensive side of the football last season, those struggles and in-game reps have prepared them for offensive prosperity this year.
Muschamp believes Jake Bentley’s experience as a true freshman and maturity displayed over the offseason make this team more adept to better perfomances away from Williams-Brice Stadium. Road wins were hard to come by in 2016, but Muschamp’s group has already passed a big test with their Week 1 netural site win against NC State.
