Kelly Bryant proved everybody wrong. No sooner had Deshaun Watson taken his last snap at Clemson that Tiger fans had penciled in Hunter Johnson or Zerrick Cooper as their next starting quarterback. But Bryant came out of spring with a leg up on the competition and he didn’t back up this fall. Or perhaps the younger guys didn’t do enough to surpass him. Regardless, Dabo Swinney after practice Monday night officially handed the keys to his offense to Bryant, a rising junior who has taken exactly 100 career snaps and completed 13 career passes.
