Clemson opened fall camp this afternoon and for the second time in school history the Tigers will go into a season as the defending national champions. But that’s about all Dabo Swinney wants to talk or think about regarding 2016 at this point of 2017. He knows it’s a new team with new key pieces for a new season and what the 2016 team accomplished what do anything to help this squad. Prior to practice, Swinney met with the media to preview camp that started without two injured players, tight end Garrett Williams and defensive end Richard Yeargin, and quarterback Tucker Israel who is still dealing with a health issue.
