USC practiced again Thursday morning, the final practice before the full pads go on Friday. That’s when the coaches can begin to separate the men from the boys. After some struggling moments with pass rush, pass coverage and tackling last season, Robinson is expecting an overall improved defense in year two with the Gamecocks.
