Clemson is keeping the line of communication open with OL Gavin Orr of Gadsden, AL just in case some other offensive line targets higher on the board don’t commit to the Tigers. And that’s fine with Orr. He’s willing to wait on the Tigers. “Coach Caldwell has messaged me a couple of times just to check in. I know they have offered a few OL guys that they are waiting to see what they do. Coach Caldwell has been upfront with me about that. The last thing he told me after the camp was to be patient. I have several schools wanting me to commit, but I am willing to wait and see if a Clemson offer comes. It would be a dream offer for sure.” Orr said his favorites from his offers are Troy, UAB, Army, Middle Tennessee, Samford and Harvard. He’s also getting interest from Southern Miss and Wake Forest.
QB Carter Bradley of Jacksonville will visit Georgia Saturday. Depending on what happens with him at Georgia related to an offer, he might still try to visit USC for its camp Friday in pursuit of an offer.
2020 OL Gavin Hals of Santa Monica, CA visited Clemson Wednesday and USC Saturday while in the state.
6-6 2018 Aaron Nesmith of Porter-Gaud picked up offers from Texas A&M and Massachusetts.
