RB Lyn-J Dixon of Butler, GA has a very respectful offer list that includes USC, Tennessee, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, Missouri, Florida, Alabama, Virginia Tech, Louisville, LSU, Notre Dame, Texas and others. He also is high up on Clemson’s board and he feels an offer is a phone call away.
“I was supposed to call Coach Elliott and I hope things go great on their end and I hope I get an offer soon,” Dixon said. “I like the family thing and what they have going on, and all the coaches. They keep it real with me and that makes me respect them more.”
Dixon said Clemson already is in strong position with him and an offer would only improve that.
Dixon visited Clemson last season for the Pitt game and was also back for a spring practice. He also has been to Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Alabama. And a USC visit could be coming this Saturday.
“I think so, I’ve got to make sure with my mom, though. I’ve been hearing from them a lot and they asked me to come visit them and I’m planning on it,” he said. “I feel like the coaches are nice and I can really connect with them. I can see myself playing under Bobby Bentley.”
Dixon said he doesn’t have a favorite at this point. He rushed for nearly 2000 yards and 35 touchdowns last season.
