Just over a week ago Clemson was sitting on a nine game winning streak, but now the Tigers are reeling a bit, losers of three straight to drop to 1-3 in the ACC. A road loss at Georgia Tech is the latest setback for the Tigers and that game leads off tonight’s recap of the college hoops games involving Palmetto State teams.
Tigers can’t solve Yellow Jackets riddle in Atlanta
Jaron Blossomgame did his part with 20 points and Avry Holmes chipped in 14, but after that there wasn’t a lot in the way of help from the rest of the Tigers. Georgia Tech was in control for the better part of the game in a 75-63 win Thursday night. Blossomgame and Holmes were the only double digit scorers for the Tigers. Marquise Reed came the closest with nine points. Now Clemson is 11-5, but 1-3 in the ACC and the road isn’t going to get any easier for them any time soon. Next up the Tigers have a home game against 19th ranked Virginia.

The USC women had to fight hard for a 66-63 win over Georgia in Columbia. The Gamecocks didn’t have A’ja Wilson because of an ankle injury, but still managed to hold off the Bulldogs to move to 14-1 and 4-0 in the SEC. They will play at LSU Sunday.
