USC’s offense is looking for any kind of spark it can find for the second half of the season. The Gamecocks sputtered through the first six games, but Perry Orth still saw things that give him hope going forward. Orth points to Deebo Samuel and Bryan Edwards both back and healthy, two weapons Orth believes can be game changers. Orth also pointed to the inexperienced players getting more games under their belt and getting more comfortable and productive going forward.
Orth has heard Will Muschamp’s statement that every job is up for grabs, including his. Brandon McIlwain has already started a few games and fellow freshman Jake Bentley is getting reps this week. Orth said he is fighting every day for his job, just like always.
Take a listen to what Orth had to say below.
