Clemson coach Dabo Swinney couldn’t be happier about his team’s performance from Friday night at Boston College based on his comments on his Sunday conference call. As he did Friday night after the game, Swinney called the performance the best of the season by the Tigers.
Swinney added that the only injury of note coming out of the game was a high ankle sprain by backup tackle Tremayne Anchrum who likely will miss this week’s game with NC State. Defensive end Christian Wilkins, who also sprained an ankle, should be fine. And Swinney said defensive end Austin Bryant, who dressed for the first time this season Friday night, was available but not needed and will be ready for this Saturday.
