USC has its work cut out for them on both sides of the ball against #9 Texas A&M. The Aggies defense is strong led by defensive end Myles Garrett and defensive back Justin Evans and the offense is humming along with Trevor Knight at quarterback and Chistian Kirk making plays at receiver. The Gamecocks haven’t yet seen talent this season like what the Aggies will bring to Williams-Brice Stadium Saturday.
Linebacker Bryson Allen-Williams said it will take a great effort to slow down the Aggies, just to stay in the game with them. Of course, the offense, currently ranked 124th in the country, will have to vastly step up or it won’t matter what the defense does. That will start up front on the offensive line where sophomore guard Zack Bailey admits the Gamecocks have underachieved.
