OL TJ Moore of Charlotte said Monday afternoon he’s made his decision on a commitment. He has not yet notified the school but plans to do so this afternoon.
Moore said his decision came down to USC, Tennessee and NC State. He had been holding out for an Alabama offer but he’s not heard back from Nick Saban.
Moore said he might make his commitment public later on Monday but needed to talk with his parents first. He will put his decision out on Twitter.
Moore was at USC’s junior day in February and was close to committing to the Gamecocks then. But his recruiting took off and more schools jumped in with offers so he opted to delay his decision. NC State pulled even with the Gamecocks in the spring and Moore visited State Saturday. He also went to Tennessee’s spring game and that put the Vols in the mix as well.
Moore returned to USC for the cookout in April and has been in regular contact with Gamecock offensive line coach Shawn Elliott. His teammate and fellow OL Eric Douglas committed to the Gamecocks in early April.
