There aren’t many major programs that haven’t offered LB KJ Britt of Oxford, AL. Clemson is on that short list. Britt attended the Tigers spring game. He has more than enough offers that not getting one from the Tigers doesn’t really sting. But it would have been nice nonetheless.
“It was good, I had fun, I enjoyed myself,” Britt said. “How they were on one accord about family. That was big with them so it was good to see that.”
Brent Venables is recruiting Britt for the Tigers and he said he was told by the Tigers’ defensive coordinator he would be meeting with Dabo Swinney soon to talk about an offer and would get back to him.
“If I do (get an offer) I do, and if I don’t, it is what it is,” Britt said. “They apologized for not spending much time with me. It was hectic that day. There was a bunch of people there.”
Britt does have a USC offer and he’s hearing regularly from recruiter Coleman Hutzler who talked to him earlier this week.
Britt is going back to Georgia this Saturday for he G-Day Game. He’s also going to visit Ole Miss April 23rd and LSU April 30th. He’s added the Tigers to his favorites list which also includes USC, Clemson, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.
Britt plans to announce his decision August 8th.
