The atmosphere at Clemson Saturday made it a great trip for 2016 RB Tavien Feaster of Spartanburg. The junior back is showing a lot of interest in the Tigers and said that Clemson is strong with him.
“They always show me a lot of love when I go down there,” Feaster said. “They’re telling me that I am their number one guy for the 2016 class.”
Feaster spoke of the enthusiasm from those in attendance that made his visit enjoyable.
“The crowd was into it the whole game so that made it a lot of fun,” he said. “I really like their offense. It’s similar to the one we run so I think that would make it easy to learn.”
This weekend will see Feaster head to Knoxville to watch Tennessee host Florida. He is looking forward to the trip.
“They’re a lot like Clemson in that they’re showing me a lot of love,” he said. “I enjoy it every time I go there. This will be my first time going to a game there so I’m hoping it’s exciting.”
Auburn is another possible destination though Feaster has not scheduled that visit. Several schools are showing him a lot of interest including Southern Cal.
“They’ve really come on strong lately and are showing me how interested they are,” Feaster said though he’s not sure if he will visit the West Coast.
As for USC, Feaster said he is not hearing much from the Gamecocks.
Feaster has missed the last two games due to injury but plans to return to the field this Friday against Byrnes.
He does not have any favorites.
