Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris and his newest offense toy, Deshaun Watson, both spoke to reporters Monday to put the wraps on a 50-35 win over North Carolina last week and peek ahead to this weekend’s Textile Bowl matchup with N.C. State in Death Valley. Watson set a school record with six touchdown passes in his first career start Saturday night. Wonder what he has in mind for an encore? We’ll find out Saturday afternoon.
Morris has done his best to temper the excitement about Watson, noting there were several mistakes made during the Tar Heels game. However, he knows he has something special.
