6-5 Tevin Mack of Dreher is set to welcome head coaches from his five final schools for in home and in school visits starting Tuesday morning.
Mack said at 6:30 in the morning VCU coach Shaka Smart is scheduled to meet with him. Next in on Tuesday, Mack said, is the entire USC coaching staff. And Clemson coach Brad Brownell is also due to visit him on Tuesday.
Mack said Georgia coach Mark Fox is set to visit on Wednesday and it’s possible Wake Forest coach Danny Manning will also be in this week.
The visits will be important, Mack said, to get clarity from all the schools about how they view him fitting in.
“I want to ask them where they want to play me, that’s my main question,” he said. That question is mainly for USC and Wake Forest because Mack said the other three schools have already spelled out their plans for him pretty clearly.
Mack has now set his official visit with the Gamecocks for October 16th. He previously set visits with Georgia for September 20th, VCU September 27th and Clemson October 4th. He has not set his date with Wake Forest.
Mack said he will be at USC Saturday for the Georgia football game. He said there is no favorite and all five schools are coming at him with the same effort.
