It’s a shame college football fans across the country missed out on the opportunity to watch Jadeveon Clowney chase after Johnny Manziel in at least one game. That would have been one of the storylines for Thursday night’s game if both had not opted for the NFL after last season.
But even without Manziel and star receiver Mike Evans, the A&M offense is still plenty to prepare for according to Gamecock defensive coaches talking after Sunday’s practice.
Will the Aggie offense be able to produce points and yards at last season’s rate (44 points, 538 yards)? It’s too soon to know, but it’s up to the Gamecocks to make sure they don’t get off on the right foot.
