This is not just the senior season for USC TE Busta Anderson. It’s also the money season. Anderson could have thrown his name into the NFL Draft after last season but after not exactly setting the world on fire as a junior, Anderson felt it best to return for another chance to win the SEC and at the same time raise his draft stock.
He did have a career high 17 catches for 235 yards, but for the first time in his career Anderson did not catch a touchdown pass. And he averaged a career low 13.8 yards per catch.
Anderson was having an excellent spring until he tore his right triceps muscle in the final week. He had surgery and is fully recovered though he hasn’t been cleared for full speed practice yet.
In this interview, Anderson updates his health and talks about his hopes for his senior season.
