OL Brandon Sandifer of Warner Robins, GA is headed to the SEC, he’s just not sure if he’ll call Columbia, Tuscaloosa or Gainesville home. Sandifer visited USC last weekend for the Showcase Camp, and he also visited the Gamecocks in May. He was at Florida for Friday Night Lights and he visited Alabama in early June.
“I don’t know that he’s any closer to making a decision,” Sandifer’s coach Kevin Kinsler said Thursday. “I don’t know if he’s going to make a decision soon. He’s just mulling it over trying to make his choice. He’s not ready to make a decision yet. I don’t know if he’s leaning one way or another.”
USC has been recruiting Sandifer for an extended period and he’s been high on the Gamecocks for much of the process.
“Every time he’s gone there he’s thoroughly enjoyed it,” Kinsler said. “His mother was real pleased with it and liked the coaches, the campus and the atmosphere. Brandon feels good about it, too. They’ve really done their homework but it’s going to come down to where he feels comfortable. Coach Botkin has done a really good job.”
Kinsler already has a player at USC in safety Brison Williams.
