After committing to Clemson in April, QB Kelly Bryant of Wren said he remains 100 percent committed to the program. Several factors entered into his decision and Bryant is confident nothing will change.
“I wanted to find a program that fit me academically, socially and athletically…and Clemson was the right fit for me,” Bryant said. “I love everything about the program from the family atmosphere and how they do things at Clemson.”
The up-tempo offense is nothing new to Bryant and something he looks forward to being a part of moving forward.
“It’s similar to the one I am playing now…you know, up-tempo, no huddle, get the ball out of your hands that’s one thing I loved about the offense and I could see myself playing in it,” he said.
Bryant remains in contact with offensive coordinator Chad Morris. Coach Morris is encouraging Bryant to be around the team often.
“We just talk about trying to get up there as much as I can to watch practice and get the feel of what the player goes through each and every day,” Bryant said. “He also checks on me to see how I’m doing…how schools is going…that’s pretty much it.”
Bryant will not take any other visits and plans to attend several Clemson games this fall.
