USC catcher Grayson Greiner and Clemson ace Daniel Gossett were named All-Americans by Perfect Game Baseball. Greiner earned 2nd team honors; Gossett made the third team.
Greiner hit .311 for the Gamecocks this season. He scored 39 times, drove in 50 runs and hit eight homeruns. He recently signed with the Detroit Tigers, who drafted him in the third round of the MLB draft.
Gossett finished the season with a 7-2 record. The All-ACC selection had an ERA of 1.93. He was drafted in the first round of the MLB draft by Oakland. He signed a contract with the A’s last week that gave him a 750,000 dollar signing bonus.
