DE Marquavious Lewis, the Greenwood native who attends Hutchinson JC, KS, said Thursday night he will take an official visit to Arizona State this weekend. That’s his first scheduled official visit but he also plans to officials to USC and Auburn.
Lewis visited USC and Auburn unofficially while he was hone during the school break. After visiting USC, he had the Gamecocks as his leader. After visiting Auburn, he was more open about things.
Lewis talked Wednesday night with Gamecock recruiter Deke Adams. “He was just calling to keep in touch,” Lewis said. “South Carolina is probably one of my leaders but I’m trying to stay level headed. I’ve got schools to see and I haven’t been out yet..”
Lewis said he also talks weekly with Auburn and has also been talking a lot with Alabama and Arizona State.
Oregon and Kentucky have started showing interest in Lewis who also has offers from Clemson, Florida, Kansas State, Tennessee, Arkansas, Miami, West Virginia, Louisville, Cincinnati, Minnesota and Southern Cal.
He wants to make his decision around the middle or end of this season.
