Tonight we were pleased to welcome back into SportsTalk Clemson head baseball coach Jack Leggett.
Leggett’s Tigers were victims of the broom over the weekend at the hands of the Miami Hurricanes, one of the nations hottest teams. The Cane’s sweep of the Tigers catapults their record to a cool 19-1 in the past month.
Conversely, the Tigers have been battling with consistency issues for a while now, and have now dipped to being a sub .500 ball club since the turn of April.
Tonight the skipper elaborated on his squads inability to provide offense with runners in scoring position, and also delved into the issues he’s having with his arms, and how he plans on correcting those issues with the end of the regular season approaching fast.
