USC assistant Deke Adams is looking into WR Trevion Armstrong (6-5 210) of Chesterfield, VA. Adams requested film on the wide receiver recently and has Armstrong strongly considering attending a camp in Columbia this summer.
“They had already visited my school and coach Adams later called to request my film,” Armstrong said. “They’re a big time program and they’re not too far from home. I’m going to call him back soon to see what he thought of my film.”
Armstrong had 41 receptions for 891 yards and 15 scores as a junior, His offers are from Old Dominion, James Madison, Pitt, Marshall, Charlotte and Towson with interest from USC, North Carolina, Virginia and Duke.
Armstrong has visited Virginia, Georgia Tech, Duke, North Carolina, James Madison and Ohio with the three ACC schools standing out.
“They’re all close to home and have the style of offense that I think I would fit in to,” he said. “They all feature and H-Back which is something that I can do.”
He will visit North Carolina for a second time April 12th and attend a Rivals Camp the next day in Washington, D.C. His next trip will be to a Nike Training Camp on the 26th, also in D.C. Armstrong plans to attend two-to-three camps this summer to include USC. He does not have any favorites.
