Thursday morning two of most prominent football players in Clemson history ran through pro-day drills at Clemson’s indoor practice facility.
Record setting quarterback Tajh Boyd has had mixed reviews in the offseason following his Senior Bowl workouts, and his NFL combine performance. He had a quality day Thursday, only throwing one incompletion (evidently a drop by receiver Martavis Bryant at that), and by all accounts was more comfortable within the comfort of the facilities he’s called home for the past few years.
Star receiver Sammy Watkins was one of the receivers Boyd was throwing to today at the pro-day workouts. Watkins turned some heads with his underwhelming 40 time at the combine, but decided not to run the 40 again this morning to try to improve his time.
