Clemson ran its winning streak over Georgia Tech to nine Saturday afternoon pulling away late in the second half to a 63-55 win in Atlanta. The Tigers evened their ACC road record this season to 4-4. They are 17-9 overall and 8-6 in the ACC.
KJ McDaniels led three Tigers in double figures with 16 points. Damarcus Harrison knocked down 15 points including the only three three pointers the Tigers had in the game. And Landry Nnoko added 13 points and 6 rebounds as the Tigers won the battle in the paint 34-20.
Harrison broke a 48-48 tie with a three pointer with 4:45 to play and the Tigers never trailed the rest of the way as the Tigers held Tech scoreless over the next four minutes while stretching their lead to 55-48.
The Tigers have won their last two and they will play their final regular season road game at Wake Forest Tuesday night.
