WR Tavin Richardson (6-4 205) of Byrnes visited Kentucky last Saturday for a junior day and liked what he saw in the program. The Wildcats have offered Richardson and are showing a lot of interest. “I loved it,” he said. “They’ve got a lot going on right now. I really liked the love and support the fans showed us when we went to the basketball game.” Georgia Tech is next up for Richardson. He heads to Atlanta this weekend. “We’re going down Saturday,” he said. “They are recruiting me really hard. I like a lot of things about their program.” The Yellow Jackets have offered as well and it was be his second trip to Georgia Tech. His other offers include Pittsburgh, Arkansas, Boston College, Cincinnati, Illinois, Louisville, Maryland, Ole Miss, Miami, Mississippi State, and Virginia Tech with interest from Michigan State, Penn State and West Virginia. Richardson has not heard from Clemson or USC. He says he does not have any favorites and does not plan to narrow his list until after his senior season.
