The 5th ranked USC baseball team moved to 4-0 with a 4-0 win over Presbyterian Tuesday afternoon at Carolina Stadium. The highlight of the game was a two out three-run homer to right field by Kyle Martin in the 7th inning that gave the Gamecocks the 4-0 lead. The other run came on a Connor Bright RBI double in the sixth inning that drove in Grayson Greiner.
Curt Britt started on the mound for USC and did not allow a run in 5 1/3 innings of work. He gave up five hits, struck out three and walked two. Josh Reagan relieved Britt and earned the win with his 2 1.2 innings of scoreless work. He allowed one hit and struck out two. Cody Mincey got the final four outs, three of them by way of strike out.
