“Good energy and good enthusiasm” were words Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney used when describing today’s bowl practice.
The Tigers have been hard at work preparing for the 2014 Orange bowl. Swinney spoke highly of his players saying it’s been fun coaching them especially his JV team who some have had the chance to play. “We had our first scrimmage with them today.” Swinney said. “Wayne Gallman, wow. Dorian O’Daniel. Those were two that jumped out at me today.”
Swinney also mentioned he doesn’t believe their will be any casualties as far as players not being able to play due to academic reasons. “Because of our structure, we have a lot of hands on, and a lot of eyes on guys. We work really hard with Vickery Hall and we support what they do over there. If you don’t go to class, then you don’t play. Swinney said.
The Tigers will be getting involved in some community service and will have positional meetings tomorrow. They’ll return to the practice field Saturday and focus the entirety of their day on the Buckeyes.
