The weather was a mixed bag in Myrtle Beach for Tuesday’s two-a-days for the Saturday’s Touchstone Energy Bowl North-South Game. Rain in the morning gave way to better weather in the afternoon. Both teams continued to sharpen their offensive game plans. With the quarterbacks on both teams, look for the pigskin to fly Saturday afternoon.
Here’s more of my recap from day two:
Touchstone Energy is the new sponsor of the North-South Game and I talked with Touchstone’s Mark Quinn Tuesday about what this new alliance means to his company.
The North suffered a pair of injuries Tuesday. DL Rashad Miller of Spartanburg hurt his knee but should be back for Wednesday’s practice. DB Compton Walker of Fairfield Central injured his shoulder and is out indefinitely.
