Furman head football coach Bruce Fowler visited SportsTalk tonight to preview the Paladins Southern Conference showdown with Wofford Saturday.
After starting off their 2013 slate at 2-4, Furman has closed the back half of their schedule on fire, winning 4 of 5, including 3 straight. The lone loss in the stretch came at the hands of 13th ranked LSU at Baton Rouge.
Some of Furman’s recent fortune can surely be attributed to the fact they’ve gotten healthy at some key positions as of late. Fowler explains.
With the Terriers headed to Greenville this weekend, Fowler will have to handle Wofford’s vaunted triple option attack if he wants to have much success Saturday. He elaborated on how he plans on trying to get that done tonight as well, and much more.
