USC defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles will enter the NFL Draft following this season, his third at USC but his fourth out of high school. Quarles attended a prep school before enrolling at USC. A source told SportsTalkSC.com early today that Quarles and his family had decided to make the move, and Quarles’ father, former Gamecock Buddy Quarles, confirmed the decision to The State.
This season Quarles has 27 tackles and leads the Gamecocks with 7 sacks and 11 tackles for loss.
One draft expert projects Quarles as high as a third round pick next spring.
