Clemson is going through its first two-a-day session today. The Tigers worked out this morning and will be back on the field again tonight. Offensive coordinator Chad Morris met with the media to update the progress of his unit through the first full week of the preseason camp.
With Morris it is all about tempo; the faster the better, and you can never really go fast enough. Clemson could run 300 plays in a game and Morris would be trying to figure out how they can get to 301.
“Some of these guys think they can’t go any harder and they got to keep working,” Morris said. “They think it’s tough. It ain’t tough. It’s got to be lot tougher right now on these guys, and we’ve got to keep straining these guys.
…We’ve got to go harder. We’ve got to strain them a little harder as a coaching staff. That’s what I hope to see.”
