Two Clemson players are on Collegiate Baseball’s freshman A;l-America team. Pitcher Matthew Crownover and outfielder Steven Duggar are represnting the Tigers are the team. This is the first time since 2005 that two Clemson players earned freshman All-America honors. Brad Chald and Taylor Harbin were the last pair to do it.
Crownover finished this season with a 7-3 record and a team leading 2.19 ERA. Duggar, a Byrnes High product, hit .300 this season with a pair of homers, 30 RBIs and 15 stolen bases. He also had a team high nine outfield assist.
