TE Kevin Crosby Jr. (6-2 240) of Bamberg-Ehrhardt, rated as one of the top prospects in South Carolina for the 2014 class, announced a commitment to USC Saturday afternoon at a news conference at the Savannah Creek Baptist Church in Ehrhardt.
Crosby picked the Gamecocks over Alabama and Clemson after narrowing his list from over 50 offers.
Last season Crosby Jr. had 36 catches for 786 yards and 14 touchdowns. On defense, he had 68 tackles with 8 sacks and 3 interceptions, 2 returned for touchdowns.
He’s the 5th commitment for USC’s 2014 class and the 4th from the state.
