This past Saturday Sidy Mohamed Djitte of Northwood Temple Academy in Fayetteville, North Carolina, pulled the trigger on a commitment to play his college ball at Clemson. The 6’10 big man was originally believed to be making his commitment some time in April, but the Tigers had to hold off for a couple of more weeks as Djitte made visits to Memphis and Cincinnati, before finally shutting it down and making the call for the orange and white. Tonight we had his high school coach, Chris Lattimer, on the program to talk about Clemson’s newest haul.
Coach Lattimer tells us that Sidy has made it official by sending in his LOI. He also gives us an idea as to how long he believes Djitte will take to develop and actually see the floor at Littlejohn Coliseum. Finally Lattimer describes his former big man’s attributes and gives us an idea as to what kind of player he believes Clemson will be getting in the future.
