Clemson and Notre Dame could clash in Death Valley in the not too distant future. According a report in the Anderson Independent Mail, Tigers coach Dabo Swinney told a group of fans that the Fighting Irish could pop on the schedule in 2015. According to Swinney, the game would be in played in Clemson.
Beginning this summer Notre Dame will be an ACC member in every sport EXCEPT football. The Irish will play five “non-conference” games against ACC teams every football season.
Clemson and Notre Dame have not played each other in football in over 30 years.
