Northwestern QB Mason Rudolph was offered Friday by Oklahoma State according to his coach Kyle Richardson. Rudolph also has offers from LSU and Virginia Tech. Richardson and Rudolph have been in touch with new LSU quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and they were assured by him that Rudolph is a high priority quarterback target. He will take an unofficial visit to LSU March 22nd. He plans to visit Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee over spring break. Rudolph is getting no interest from USC or Clemson.
Wando OL Nolan Kelleher was offered Friday by Florida State according to his coach Jimmy Noonan. Kelleher also has offers from Georgia Tech, Duke, Virginia Tech, Connecticut, Kentucky and NC State. USC and Clemson are evaluating him at this point according to Newnan. He has camped at both. Kelleher will visit Florida State for a junior day Saturday. He has been to Georgia Tech for a junior day.
Dillon freshman QB Avery McCall now has four offers according to his coach Jackie Hayes. His offers are USC, East Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee.
QB Drew Barker of Hebron, KY is going to Kentucky’s junior day Saturday. The Wildcats are making a strong push for Barker who has had USC and Tennessee as his favorites. He recently picked up offers from Ole Miss and Miami. He plans to visit USC again in the spring. He was in last season for the Tennessee game.
RB Jae’lon Oglesby of Daniel is committed to Clemson but still plans to take several visits. “I’m going to take all my visits but right now I’m still solid to Clemson…I really wanna go see Florida [sic],” texted Oglesby. He has offers from Clemson and Tennessee but feels that no one else will offer due to his commitment to the Tigers. Other schools he wants to visit are Oregon, Florida State, Georgia and LSU. Oglesby has heard from USC but the Gamecocks were recruiting him as a receiver. “I don’t want to play wide receiver,” said Oglesby. As for why he likes Clemson he texted “Mainly because I’m right at home.”
WR KJ Williams (6-3 190) of Bethlehem, PA has offers from Rutgers, Pitt and Connecticut. He is hearing from Arizona, Miami, Maryland, Ohio, Penn State, Michigan, Tennessee and NC State among others. Williams attended a camp at USC last summer and really liked the program. “It’s the environment that I liked,” said Williams. “I liked everything. The coaches were nice, the campus was nice and I really liked the facilities.” He said he would like to return for another visit. “They told me (at the camp) that they really liked the way I play but I haven’t heard from them lately,” he said. “It will depend on their interest in me if I go back. I’m definitely interested in them.” He visits Rutgers in March and appears to hold the Scarlet Knights in high regard. When asked if he had any favorites, he said, “Not really, but I like Rutgers a lot. I like everything about them.” Williams is planning several visits this spring and plans to take a wait-and-see approach with the Gamecocks.
