Tomorrow the 6th ranked USC baseball team will open up the 2013 season in Columbia hosting Liberty. The Flames have been led by Jim Toman since 2007, and he has enjoyed the best winning percentage of any coach starting his career in Lynchburg in school history.
Prior to taking the Flames job, Toman was Ray Tanner’s right-hand-man for 11 seasons in the dugout in Columbia. in 2002 he was named the top assistant in the country by Baseball America.
