Clemson’s ACC road woes this season continued in a major way Thursday night at Virginia. The Cavaliers pasted the Tigers 78-41, Clemson’s worst ACC loss since 2003. The Tigers are 0-5 in ACC road games this season.
Clemson trailed 14-2 after the first eight minutes and it only got worse from there. KJ McDaniels was the only Tiger to score in double figures with 10. The Tigers shot just 37% including a woeful 1-17 from three point range.
Virginia, which shot 56% for the game, was led by Joe Harris with 21 points.
Clemson falls to 12-10 and 4-6 in ACC play with its second straight league loss.
