It looks like USC can add LB Jonathan Walton of Daphne, AL as its 21st commitment for the 2013 class. Walton issued a tweet Sunday night indicating he will sign with the Gamecocks over Auburn on Wednesday. That leaves USC essentially with four targets on the board.
Of those, it appears the Gamecocks have the best chance to land LB Skai Moore of Fort Lauderdale and DL Keith Bryant of Delray Beach, FL. Moore is down to USC, Vanderbilt and Rutgers. Bryant is also considering Florida State and Miami.
Clemson lost out on DE Carl Lawson of Alpharetta, GA Sunday when he reaffirmed a commitment to Auburn after taking an official visit there over the weekend.
The Tigers have a handful of prospects left on their board with OL Tyrone Crowder of Hamlet, NC the one lock to sign on Wednesday.
A source said Sunday night it does not look good for Clemson with DL Montravius Adams of Vienna, GA. Adams visited Auburn over the weekend and the source felt he was more likely to pick Auburn or Alabama.
Clemson remains in the hunt for DB Adrian Baker of Hollywood, FL who will sign with the Tigers or Oklahoma, and with DB Mackensie Alexander of Immokalee, FL. He is also looking at Auburn, Georgia and Florida and has given no hint about what he is thinking.
And there’s also DB Korrin Wiggins of Durham. He’s been committed to North Carolina but has also been considering Clemson and Ohio State.
