With the fall semester winding down it appears Clemson has its first academic casualty. Tigers sophomore wide receiver Martavis Bryant will not play in the Chick-fil-A bowl match up against LSU because of an academic suspension. The school announced made the announcement Tuesday night.
Bryant has caught 10 passers for 305 yards and four touchdowns this season. He’s played in 10 of the 12 games, missing two because of an injury.
Clemson is 10-2 and will play LSU in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl in the Georgia Dome on New Year’s Eve.
