2010-2011 Record: 11-20 (4-12)
There is really nowhere to go but up for Auburn. The good news is that the Tigers should be more competitive in Year Two of the Tony Barbee era. Frankie Sullivan is back at full strength to run the point after missing the majority of last season with a knee injury. Transfers Varez Ward and Noel Johnson will bring depth to Auburn’s lineup. The Tigers struggled mightily distributing the ball last season. Auburn ranked three hundredth in the nation in assists last year. The Tigers are still in the cellar in the SEC, but Auburn is likely to be a much-improved team this season, even if the record does not show it. The big question for Auburn will be if anyone can replace last year’s leading scorer and rebounder Earnest Ross, who transferred from the program.
